Alzheimer Caregivers Welcomed to Local Support Groups

SYRACUSE, NY – The Alzheimer’s Association, Central New York Chapter offers peer- or professionally-led support groups for friends and family dealing with Alzheimer’s disease.

All support groups are facilitated by trained individuals.

Dates for meetings in May and June are listed below.

The Alzheimer’s Association, Central New York Chapter is leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Our vision is a world without Alzheimer’s disease. The Central New York chapter covers 14 counties, including: Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Onondaga, Oneida, Oswego, St. Lawrence, Tioga and Tompkins.
