Once again, The Sent Forth band is coming to Oswego County.
Independent Recording artists, The Sent Forth will be visiting The United Baptist Church of Scriba, 5111 State Route 104E, Oswego, for a Coffee House Style performance on November 3 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Bringing a unique mix of favorite songs of worship and some of their very own worship songs, there is sure to be something for everyone on the menu.
There is no admission charge. But, a love offering will be taken for the band to help defray its expenses.
Free refreshments will be served during intermission.
Making their home base in nearby Port Byron, they have honed their craft regularly leading worship for the congregation of New Hope Community Fellowship, as well as regular performances during worship services at many local area churches.
The band, comprised of Michael B. on lead vocals, Al Weaver, on lead guitar/backing vocals, Rick Rainone on bass guitar/backing vocals and Robbie Brown percussion/backing vocals, spent last summer touring extensively, with performances in Souled Out Coffee House in Philadelphia, Pa., SOS Fest, Firelife Fest, Nedrow Fest.
Michael B. said, “Playing festivals is a great time. But the performances we enjoy the most are when we are up close and personal with the audience. That’s when we get to know each other face to face.”
