Amy L. Lovejoy, 47

Amy L. Lovejoy, 47, of Weedsport died Wednesday.

She was born in Oswego and graduated from Hannibal High School in 1982. Amy was a Certified Nurse’s Aide for six years at Michaud Nursing Home until 1995. She attended Sterling Christian Church. Amy was predeceased by her father, Royal A. Hedges, who died September 6, 2000.

She is survived by her husband, Harold E. Lovejoy of Weedsport; a son, Harold E. Lovejoy, Jr. of Weedsport; her mother, Joanne Hedges of Fair Haven; five sisters, Vicky (Ean) Tennant of Sterling, Nancy (Terry) Zukovski of Leesport, PA, Patty (Mark) Sampson of Wolcott, Tammy Hedges of Auburn and Kim (Jim) Martindale of Wolcott; a brother, Royal (Mary) Hedges, Jr. of Arizona; several nieces , nephews, great nieces and great nephews including a special great niece, Brittney Manford.

Calling hours are 12 noon to 2 p.m. Friday with a 2 p.m. service at Sterling Christian Church, 1161 State Route 104A, Sterling, New York 13156. Burial will be in Hannibal Village Cemetery. Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal has care of arrangements.

    Amy was very well liked at Michauld, she made us laugh so hard our cheeks would hurt by morning.Amy was a joy to know and work with.,she will be missed
