OSWEGO – The Amyloidosis Support Group – Upstate NY, will meet on July 16, from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
The group will meet in Rochester General Hospital’s (1425 Portland Avenue) Weiner Conference Room on the ground floor.
The meeting is open to those living in the Upstate NY area: Oswego, Rochester, Albany, Syracuse, Buffalo and Utica.
The guest speaker, via Skype, will be Dr. John Berk from Boston University Amyloidosis Center.
Patients, caregivers, families and interested medical personnel are welcome.
A complimentary light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Amyloidosis is a life threatening rare disease often misdiagnosed and under diagnosed.
