FULTON, NY – Anderson David Monty, 83, of Fulton, died Monday March 12, 2012, at the Veterans’ Administration Hospital, Syracuse, NY.
Mr. Monty was born in Mariah, NY, to the late Anderson J. and Mildred (LaRock) Monty.
He has been a resident of Fulton since 2000.
Mr. Monty retired from OCRA, Onondaga County, after 11 years of service.
He was predeceased by his wife, Florence Monty, in October 2009; and his sons: Michael Monty in September 2009 and Richard Monty in April 1984.
Mr. Monty is survived by his beloved companion, Helen Nalle of Fulton; three children: Sharon (Robert) Proulx of Middleboro, Mass., Patricia (Dennis) Pouliot of Martville, NY and Thomas (Angela) Monty of Fulton; five 5 grandchildren: Ken, Greg, Angela, Jacob and Noah; five great-grandchildren: Viktor, Stone, Tori, Sabrina and Mya; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Stephen Wirkes officiating.
Burial will be in Fayetteville Protestant Cemetery, Fayetteville, NY.
Calling hours will be conducted Thursday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
