OSWEGO, NY – Ann K. Kaczowka, of Oswego, went to be with her Lord on Monday, April 12, 2010.
Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends whom Ann had touched in some special way.
She was a lifelong resident of Oswego, and the daughter of the late Frank and Antonina (Malek) Kaczowka.
Ann was a long-time member of St. Stephen the King Church and supported the church as well as various charities.
Ann graduated from Oswego High School.
She continued her education at the Rochester Business Institute, receiving a management certificate.
She worked many years for John Hancock Insurance Company managing the Oswego office.
Ms. Kaczowka was a phenomenal cook and gardener.
She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by her family and everyone who knew her.
Ms. Kaczowka is survived by her sisters, Mary (late Fred) Kon, Helen (Frank) Plata, Frances (Robert) Hageny, Estelle (late Neil) Lloyd, Bert (Stan) Tracz; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours.
A funeral service will be held at St. Stephen the King Church in Oswego on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Entombment will be in All Saints Mausoleum, St. Peterâ€™s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Stephen the King Church Building Memorial Fund, 138 Niagara St., Oswego, NY 13126 or the Oswego City Animal Shelter, 621 E. Seneca St., Oswego, NYÂ 13126.
