The sixth annual Oswego Opera Theater Golf Tournament will be held June 18 at Battle Island State Park, 2150 State Route 48 in Fulton.
The cost will be $300 per team, but individuals may register and be placed on a team for $100.
The format will be captain-and-crew, typically with teams of four players each.
Though we encourage teams of four players, entrants may include individuals, pairs, and full teams.
We encourage couples and all women teams, too.
Registration will be at 7:30 a.m. and tee off time at 8 a.m.
Numerous prizes will be awarded including the lowest overall team scores, lowest couples’ team score, skins, mulligans, longest drives for men and women, straightest drives and drives closest to the pins.
Hole-in-one prizes will be available including a prize for $10,000.
Various team prizes and several door prizes also will be awarded.
There will be coffee, snacks and a full chicken dinner, which will be served to conclude the tournament.
That entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, use of a golf cart, snacks, skill games and the chicken dinner. In addition, skins, packets of mulligans and strings will be available for purchase.

For the past five years, opera supporters and golfers have said that the Oswego Opera Theater Golf Tournament is one of the highlights of the summer season.
So far, we’ve had beautiful weather, beautiful grounds and fine food.
“Who knows,” said a board member, “maybe this year we’ll hear an operatic aria somewhere on the course. I wouldn’t be surprised; this tournament brings out the best in all of us.”
