The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District is now accepting petitions for the board of education for the 2014-15 school budget vote and board of education elections in May.
Two three-year seats on the APW Board of Education are up for election this year, those of incumbents Marie Radley and Reginald Ware.
Petitions for nominating candidates for the APW Board of Education can be obtain from the District Clerk’s office, located at the APW Junior/Senior High School, 639 County Route 22 Parish, NY 13131.
Petitions must be signed by at least 25 qualified voters of the APW School District and must state the name and address of the candidate, residential address of each signer must also be provided.
The petitions must be filed with the District Clerk’s office no later than 5 p.m. on April 21.
Budget vote and elections will take place on May 20.
