ARC of Oswego County Hosts Special Movie Screening

Marissa Forger and Brennen Taylor were two of the lucky raffle prize winners at a recent special screening of "The Princess and The Frog." The special movie event was hosted by ARC of Oswego County, and was specifically for children with disabilities and their families. Often, parents of children with intellectual or developmental disabilities hesitate to take their children to a movie – whether because a dark room frightens them, or they are prone to vocal outbursts, or any one of a dozen issues. With the special ARC of Oswego movie showings, families can bring children and know that there will be a supportive environment for them and their siblings. ARC of Oswego County is a not-for-profit which has been serving individuals with disabilities and their families since 1955.
