One would be surprised at all the pictures and historical items in the Oswego Town Historical Society archives that have been collected over the years. And to show off some of the many items in the archives, Saturday, February 20 will be Archive Day in Oswego Town with the meeting to begin at 10am.

Archive Day will also be the first meeting of the OTHS for 2010. George DeMass, Society President and recently appointed Town Historian, will show and tell all the resources that have their home at the Town Hall where the meeting will be held. Old newspapers dating back to the 1930’s will be available to peruse and clip articles pertaining to the Town’s history. The statue depicting Dr. Mary Walker will also be on display.

All are invited to come explore, perhaps find some old records or items or just to reminisce. Refreshments will be served.

The Oswego Town Hall is located at 2320 Johnson Road, Oswego. Call (315) 343-2586 for information.
