Armond ‘Army’ DiNardo, 90

FULTON, NY – Armond “Army” DiNardo, 90, of Oswego, formerly of Fulton, passed away Friday February 10, 2017, at Oswego Hospital after a brief illness.

He was a lifelong resident of Fulton, born to the late Dominick and Assunta DiNardo, who had emigrated from Italy.

Army was predeceased by his brothers, Mario, Tom, Frank, Fidele and Tony.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nancy; daughters, Denise (Mark) Schmidt and Deidre (Peter) Clark; grandchildren, Genevieve Schmidt, Adeline Schmidt, Chloe Clark, Grady Schmidt and Lilia Clark; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Friday, February 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

Spring burial with military honors will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Seventh Street, Fulton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Armond’s memory may be made to Bishop’s Commons, 4 Burkle St., Oswego, NY 13126

  1. Condolences to Nancy, Denise, Deidre and their families. The DiNardo’s were good neighbors and very nice people when I was growing up. Sorry to hear of Armond’s passing.

  2. MY Deepest sympathy to your family ,Him and nancy lived next to me and my late son Jeffrey they was great neighbors I had visited them at bishop commons a few months ago they was very kind to us and im gonna miss him when I go to visit nancy.
