OSWEGO — An art auction benefiting three SUNY Oswego student art organizations will take place Thursday, April 1, in the lobby of Tyler Hall’s Waterman Theatre.

Attendees can preview pieces at 5:30 p.m., with the auction beginning at 6 p.m. Admission to the fundraiser is free, and it is open to the public.

Faculty and students have donated work in a variety of media for the fundraiser for student groups Arts Alive!, Break Thru Design and Student Art Exhibition Committee.

“These clubs promote the visual arts on campus in a variety of important ways from planning art-related events to helping plan exhibitions for Tyler Art Gallery,” said Michael Flanagan, assistant director of the gallery. These funds will supplement Student Association funding to allow the groups to undertake additional activities.
