Arts in the Park 2008 – Free Summer Art Classes

Arts in the Park 2008 is a free summer art enrichment program brought to you by the Art Association of Oswego, the City/County Youth Bureau and the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. The program offers children instruction in a wide variety of artistic disciplines. This summer join other children ages 6-12 in the creation of Puppets, Star Spangled Pots, Mexican Art, Dream Catchers and other fun free projects. The program meets every Thursday morning from 10 to 12pm under the Breitbeck Park Pavilion (unless otherwise noted) and is free to all children of Oswego City and County. No registration necessary, just show up and have fun!!

July 3 – Star Spangled Herb Pots – Breitbeck Park

July 10 – Abstractions -.Breitbeck Park

July 17 – Mobiles/Wind Chimes – Breitbeck Park

July 24 – Dream Catchers – at WEST PARK Harborfest time

July 31 – Puppets – Breitbeck Park

August 7 – Scratch Art – Breitbeck Park

August 9 – Mexican Art – at Fort Ontario Park for special Arts Festival (noon)

August 14 – Sizzling Sun and Moon Images – Breitbeck Park
