CNY Arts Center announces its ARTS MARKET coming in September and invites artists, crafters, antiques and food vendors to participate. Musicians and street performers are also encouraged to set up a booth and entertain the crowd while promoting their talents.
The Arts Market will be held September 17 from 9AM to 4PM in the old Nestles parking lot on Fay St in Fulton. “The ARTS MARKET will be a great way to wrap up the summer and give artists, crafters and other vendors one more chance to display their work to the general public,” said Director Nancy Fox.” The large parking lot which is seldom used is a great location for a gathering of this type. We will have ample room for everyone in one location and it will be another great showcase of the arts right here in Central New York.”
“The networking and public exposure alone is a great opportunity for these artists and entertainers. We’re asking an entry fee of $25 for a 12×12 space, trying to balance the need for raising funds and keeping costs low for more artists to participate,” Fox continued. “This is an important fundraiser for the organization in our ongoing commitment to open a facility where we can offer programming in the arts. We really want to meet that goal before cold weather sets in so we can begin to create a center for the arts that will serve the community.”
