OSWEGO, NY – Before travelling to Atlantic City to take on the best in Champ Kart racing as a part of the Gambler’s Classic, Oswego Kartway veteran Nick Demling will first serve as a celebrity guest bartender at Greene’s in Oswego on January 27.
Demling, who has scored three Oswego Kartway Classic titles in his career with more than 15 feature wins including the inaugural Clone Heavy Fall Frenzy championship in 2013, is joining kart owner Brian Whooten to take on some of kart racing’s best in the annual Gambler’s Classic in Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall January 30-31.
With two indoor Champ Kart wins to his resume, each at the Syracuse Indoor Championships, Demling travels to Atlantic City fully prepared with KSR engines, Adrenaline Rush Racing, and Chris Daley Racing Tires on board his No. 077 machine.
A total of 62 entries have been compiled for the Champ Kart portion of the Gambler’s Classic with top shoes Jonathan Cash, Anthony Colandro, Chris Daley, Jonathon Keister, ‘Disco’ Donnie Nall, Todd Root, Cale Ross, Ryan Swartz and more joining Demling in search of the title.
The Tuesday prior to travelling to the Boardwalk, Demling will partner with Greene’s in Oswego to be a celebrity guest bartender at the West Bridge Street facility, located directly across from Oswego Sub Shop.
The partnership was formed to help cover just part of the travel expenses and cost of sending one of the Kartway’s best to Atlantic City.
Demling is set to begin serving at approximately 6 p.m. With all the games, all the time – including 12 TVs, big screen stereo surround sound and more, Greene’s is Oswego’s sporting home.
