OSWEGO, NY – On a stormy spring evening, Assistant Attorney General Judith C. Malkin drove from the Syracuse Regional Office to warn the Royal Arch Masons of Oswego about the numerous scams and frauds being perpetrated on citizens in New York State.
Attorney Malkin has worked for the Attorney General’s office for more than 13 years.
She has prosecuted those who attempt to defraud the citizens of our region.
The frauds come in many forms including shady business and companies who do poor work and disappear.
Senior citizens are often the victims of the attack on our resources.
She warned of the contests that you never entered but some how ‘won.’
After her talk Attorney Malkin answered the audiences questions.
A meatloaf supper was served by the members of the Lake City Victoria Easter Star.
The members of Lake Ontario Chapter No. 165 then adjourned to their regular meeting.
