Auburn Photography Club Exhibit Opens

AUBURN, NY – The Auburn Public Theater, 8 Exchange Street at Genesee, downtown, will host a photography exhibit from 5-9 p.m. Match 2.

Still images, live music and more will help “IGNITE the Winter!” as Auburn Photography Club unveils its first show with a free public opening on March 2, at Auburn Public Theater.

As part of downtown Auburn’s seasonal IGNITE the Winter! celebration, the club will exhibit exceptional prints by nine local photographers whose work spans a wide range of subjects and techniques.

The event, beginning at 5 p.m., will be held in the theater’s StageRight space. Along with the artists’ images, visitors can enjoy merchandise, food, beverages and music by three bands.

Auburn-based Nightlite Mary features alt-rockers Daniel Lovell, Paul Luisi and Paul Nolan. The Televisionaries are psycho/surf/punkers from Rochester. Opening the show will be a set by the Auburn Public Theater House Band, featuring Bob Brower, Chris Bauso, Loren Miller, Dave Carr and Carey Eidel. Live entertainment will continue until 8 p.m.
