AURORA of CNY, Inc. recently welcomed two new staff members.
Stephanie Cramer of Phoenix, AURORAÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s new Blind Services social worker, took three years off to be with her two young daughters before coming to AURORA. Her career includes work at SAFY (Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth, a child welfare and foster care agency in Ohio), and other positions in the childrenÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s mental health field. She earned her master of science in social workÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â from Ohio State University and her bachelor of science in social work from the University of Toledo, Ohio.
Melissa Fahey of Warners is AURORAÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s new Blind Services intake coordinator. Before coming to AURORA, she worked at Operation PAR (Prevention Awareness Response), a substance abuse prevention/treatment agency in New Port Richey, FL. Melissa earned her bachelor of science in sociology from Buffalo State College in 2005.
AURORA of CNY, Inc. is the only non-profit that works exclusively with people in Central New York who are deaf, blind, visually impaired or hard of hearing.
