2010 is the 100th anniversary of Boy Scouting in the USA. Hannibal Troop 780 visited Washington, DC and the National Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia in recognition of the 100th anniversary. This was the last Jamboree to be held at Fort A.P. Hill. Future Jamborees will be held at a permanent site in West Virginia. This year’s trip was highlighted by the Boy Scouts placing a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.

Those attending: Adults: Gordon Prosser, Andy Bardin, Kathy Hawkins, Greg Hilton, Mike LaRock, Donna Johnson, Bob Miano, Marty Halstead, Terry and Noelle Salmonsen, Scouts: John Pittorf, Mike Miano, Derek Hilton, Austin Donhauser, Montana Malone, Fred Truax, Nate LaRock, Logan Scott, Matt Combes, Ryan Weldin, Garrett Halstead, Charlie and Sam McCraith, Evan and Seth Salmonsen, Nate Welling, Doug Clark and Austin Quaile.
