For the second consecutive summer, Human Concerns, Oswego’s emergency food pantry along with AmeriCorps member, Evan Oustrich, is conducting a backpack drive to aid the United Way’s Stuff-a-Bus campaign.
There is a great need throughout Oswego County for backpacks so that students can carry their belongings to school.
We will be collecting both gently used and new backpacks.
The collection will take place August 4-15. You may bring backpacks to one of five sites:
Human Concerns Center, 85 E. Fourth St., Oswego, Monday-Friday noon to 3 p.m.
Oswego YMCA, 265 W. First St., – during regular hours
Oswego Public Library, 120 E. Second St., – during regular hours
Mexico Public Library, 3269 Main St., Mexico – during open hours
Kinney Drugs, 3318 Main St., Mexico – during regular store hours
Let us work together as neighbors to make sure that every child is prepared for the upcoming school year.
