Barbara D. Blake, 92

FULTON, NY – Barbara D. Blake, 92, of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday March 1, 2017, at Morningstar Care Center in Oswego.

A native of Rome, she was a life resident of Fulton.

Barbara retired in 1987 from the computer department at Nestle Company in Fulton.

She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Fulton, its office ministry, altar guild and had served as a Sunday school teacher.

Barbara was a member and Past Matron of Elizabeth Chapter #105, Order of the Eastern Star; an Associate Past Grand Marshal of the Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star; Past Junior Deputy of Athena Triangle; a member of the A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and ARC of Oswego County.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harold A. Blake Jr., in 2014; their daughter, Susan Miniaci, in 2004; siblings, Bette Dunham, Ellen Hawley, Marjorie Norvell and Robert Besaw.

Barbara is survived by a grandson, Jon Miniaci of Florida; sister, Patricia Loomis of Oswego; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will beheld from noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, with services to follow at 1 p.m.

Burial will be at Mount Adnah Cemetery in Fulton.
