She remained a resident of Fulton for most of her life.

Betty worked as a Registered Nurse for 49 years.

She first began her career in Manhattan at Lenox Hill and continued in North Carolina where she began a Lamaze Charter Group and a La Leche League.

Betty retired from A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital where she worked in the ICU for 30 years and her remaining 10 years in Ambulatory Surgery.

Betty was a past member of the Holy Family Parish Council and was a founding couple of the Holy Family Marriage Encounter One/One.

Betty was considered the heart of the family.

The one who always promoted family and friends to gather and spend time together.
