Beatrice I. Payne, 81, of Fulton, died Sunday at Oswego Hospital.
Born in Fulton, she was a life resident. Beatrice retired from A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital Snack Bar in 1991 after seven years. She had previously worked at Nestle Company in Fulton. Beatrice was a doll collector and had a home business of restoring antique dolls.
Beatrice was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Allan Payne who died June 30, 2009; by two brothers, Harvey and Harry Inch and by a sister, Verna Harper, who died in 2006.
Surviving: two daughters, Linda Payne-Sylvester of Maine and Jean Shortt of Port Orange, Florida; two sisters, Myrtle Taber of Hannibal and Ethel Chubb of Fulton; three grandchildren, James, Jerry and Scott Carr; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Burial will be at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal.
