Beatrice L. Clemons, 88, of Volney died Saturday at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego.

Born in Greig, NY to the late Frank and Edith Casler, she had attended school in Glenfield, then came to the Volney area as a young child and remained a long time resident. She was a member of the Fulton First United Methodist Church.

Beatrice was predeceased by her husband, Walter E. Clemons, Sr., who died April 6, 1989; four brothers and three sisters.

Surviving: a daughter, Carol (John) Case of Fulton; two sons, Walter E. (Tammy) Clemons, Jr. of Pelion, SC and Guy W. (Cheryl) Clemons, Sr. of Volney; six grandchildren, C. Daniel Case of Fulton, John W. Case, Jr., Eric W. Case, and Lisa Parkhurst all of Hannibal, Guy Clemons, Jr. and Corey Clemons both of Fulton; five great-grandchildren.

Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton. Burial will be at Fairdale Rural Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.

    Sorry about your mom, she was a sister in law to both my aunt Betty and your aunt Betty Casler. My sister also sends her regrets, you knew as as Ruth and Sandie Peronne, and we used to play together as kids. May God be with you and your families.

  2. My most favorite and sweetest of Aunts. Aunt Bea gave me the best memories of my youth! Picking berries, making pies, canning and going to camp and making maple syrup. What great memories!!! I only wished I could have seen here before she left us.
