Benefit Set Saturday To Help Youngster With Medical Expenses

FULTON, NY – Maddison Olivia Bartlett was born on May 15, 2012, along with her twin brother, Adam.

While Adam was happy and healthy, Maddi spent the next three months in the hospital.

During this time, she was diagnosed with Central Diabetes Insipidus, Septo Optic Dysplasia and GERD (chronic acid reflux).

Maddi also has a history of seizures, abnormal activities in her brain pattern, and her pituitary gland was underdeveloped, meaning her body does not produce the hormones she needs.

With her medical conditions, Maddi needs several medications, therapy and treatments daily that are very expensive.

Lakeview Lanes, 723 W. Broadway in Fulton, has donated the use of its facilities to host a benefit to help defray the cost of the daily expenses.

We also just got word that when anyone bowls during the benefit 100% is being donated from Lakeview Lanes to Miss Maddi.

There will be chicken dinners by Fricken Chicken and live entertainment with the Claydo Ridge DJs.

There will also be raffles, a 50/50 drawing and a raffle for a 40-inch TV.

The benefit will be held on Saturday from noon until 6 p.m.

Anyone  wishing to make donations or buy presale tickets ($10) can contact Jessie Phillips at 591-8433 or B.J. Phillips at 402-0240.

Tickets will be $15 at the door.

We appreciate everyone and every little thing helps. Let’s show our support for Miss Maddie!
