Bernice Kimball, 64 of Fulton, passed away Saturday at home.

A life resident of Fulton, she had worked many years in the kitchen for the local Salvation Army. Bernice was predeceased by her husband, Roger Kimball, who passed away in 2005 and by her daughter, Mary Ann Batchelor, who passed away in 2003.

She is survived by her children, Terry (Nelson) Adorno and Michael (Debbie) Arnold; sisters, Bev Gray, Shirley Bonnie, Joan Clark, Sherry Beeman, Rosie DeSalvatore; brothers, Beaver Halstead, Billy Halstead and Rick Halstead; six grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be 12 noon to 2 pm Wednesday with a 2 pm service to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

  7. You always said you were being punished for the things you’ve done 20-30 Years ago. But I never got the chance to tell you that you made up for those mistakes by taking care of my sisters and myself. You were our 2nd mother, you and grandpa were alway there for us. You always put us first. I love you Grammy. I wish you were here now. You would just fall in love with my daughter Olivia. I show her pictures of you all the time. I want her to grow up knowing that the person I am today is because of you. I love you and miss you everyday! Till I see you again, I know you’ll always be watching over us.
