Bertha I. Cooper, 95 of Towpath Towers, Fulton and a former resident of County Route 4 in the Town of Scriba passed away Tuesday evening at the Sunrise Nursing Home.
Mrs. Cooper was born in Pulaski and was the daughter of the late Frank and Ivah Rood Coffin.
She had been employed at Nestles in Fulton for 28 years retiring in 1978.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Oswego Senior Citizens Association and the South Scriba Methodist Church.
She had previously been active with the Shirts and Skirts Square Dancing Club.
Bertha was recently honored at SUNY Oswego for her service during wartime as a Rosie the Riveter.
She enjoyed bingo, cards, dancing, shopping and tea parties with family and friends.
Mrs. Cooper is survived by one daughter Donna Matteson of Granby, one son Kenneth (Sherry) Burdick of Scriba, one sister in-law Dorothy Elkin of Pulaski, seven grandchildren, Donald Burdick, Karen (David) Becker, Linda (John) Rizzo, Julie (Troy) Halsey, Cindy (Marty) Shoemaker, Star Matteson and Dustin (Kelly) Burdick, ten great grandchildren, three great gr. grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three husbands, Donald Burdick, Floyd Peashey and Leonard J. Cooper, Sr. one son Robert (Kay) Burdick, one sister Genevieve Clark, two brothers Earl Coffin and Winferd Coffin.
Funeral services will be Saturday 11:00 AM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with Rev. William Nickolas officiating.

Spring burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
