BestFit ‘Boot Camp’ For All Fitness Levels Starts July 9, Registration Ends June 27

If your home treadmill has become a clothes hanger, or if you’ve settled into a less than challenging routine at your gym, the upcoming BestFit Boot Camp could be just the motivation you need to step up your fitness game.

Jessica Viscome, an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Certified Personal Trainer and owner of BestFit, is leading a team of four Certified Personal Trainers who will work with a group of motivated people at all fitness levels. The program will be every Wednesday at 7:00pm, from July 9 to Aug. 27. Each participant will have his or her weight, inches, and body fat measured before training begins. At the end of eight weeks, the team that makes the most improvement in these areas will win a prize, as will the individual who stands apart from the group. “Every Wednesday at 7:00 pm, from July 9 to Aug. 27, I’ll be leading a team of Certified Personal Trainers who will work with a group of motivated people at all fitness levels,” said Jessica Viscome, an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Certified Personal Trainer and owner of BestFit. “I love Jessica’s energy, enthusiasm and willingness to help everyone succeed,” said Tara Stoddard, a participant in a Phoenix, NY Boot Camp. “No matter what, I feel amazing after every boot camp and look forward to coming back. I’m addicted and I have gone down two pants sizes in one month.”

Viscome began her career implementing wellness and fitness programs at Gannett/USA TODAY in McLean, VA. She also organized recreation programs for a number of Fortune 100 companies in the Greater Washington, DC area. She started BestFit in 2009, conducts personal training and wellness programs for individuals and groups throughout Central NY.

Training will be at Onondaga Lake Park (near the dog park). Each trainer will work with a “team” of participants, Viscome explained. At the start of the program, everyone will have his or her weight, inches, and body fat measured. They will also have their before photo taken and complete a fitness assessment. At the end of eight weeks, the team that makes the most improvement in these areas will win a prize, as will the individual who stands apart from the group.
