Betsy F. Wilcox, 82, of Volney died Saturday at home.
Born in Cortland, she was a life resident of the Phoenix area. Betsy loved to complete fill-in puzzles, and also enjoyed dancing, knitting, and playing computer games. She had previously attended Little Utica United Methodist Church.
Betsy was predeceased by her parents Charles Stuttle and Georgianna Finch; stepfather, Edison Finch; son, Doby Jay Wilcox; twin sister, Betty; sister, Dawn Stevens; brother, William Stuttle.
Surviving: her husband of 61 years, William Wilcox of Fulton; daughters, Patricia Anne Wilcox of Mexico; sons, Mark (Carol) Wilcox of Volney, William F.(Mary) Wilcox of Oswego, David C. (Shelly) Wilcox of Fulton, Lance T. (Paulette) Wilcox of Volney, Jason A. (Laura) Wilcox of Chittenango, John R. (Robin) Wilcox Fulton; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Dick (Bernie) Stuttle of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Larry (Jan) Stuttle of Cayuga; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Wednesday 12 noon to 2 p.m. with a 2 p.m. service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Burial will be at Chase Cemetery, Lysander. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons Street, P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, 13057.
