Beverly â€œJeanieâ€ J. Haven, 76, of Hannibal died Tuesday at St. Josephâ€™s Hospital in Syracuse.
Born in Syracuse she was a life resident of the Hannibal area. She was a member of the Hannibal Community Church where she was the Clerk of Session for over 20 years and recently joined the First United Church of Fulton. She was active in the Cub Scouts, PTA, and was a 4H leader all in Hannibal. Jeanie had enjoyed cake decorating, sewing, singing and traveling. She was predeceased by an infant son, John C. Haven who died in 1962 and by her father, John M. Pierce who died in 1971.
Surviving: her husband of 53 years, James V. Haven, Sr. of Hannibal; children, James V. (Marian) Haven, Jr. of Pennellville and Rev. Jeanine Haven of Youngstown, OH; 1 grandson, Andrew â€œJackâ€ Haven; mother, Adelaide Pierce of Fulton; five brothers; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Services are Saturday 10:30 a.m. at First United Church of Fulton, 33 South Third Street, Fulton. Burial will be at Fairdale Rural Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.
