OSWEGO – With so much competition for your customers’ attention, how do you stand out from other businesses?
You don’t need to spend a ton of money on advertising; you just need some imagination and the willingness to try something different.
Honore Stockley, SBDC business advisor, will discuss creative and cost-effective ways to market your product or service at the next Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training’s monthly breakfast meeting, April 2 at 8 a.m. at Operation Oswego County, 44 W. Bridge St., Oswego.
Topics include new trends in social media, email marketing, public relations, special events, and more.
Stockley is the newest business advisor for SUNY Oswego’s Small Business Development Center.
In this role, Stockley provides a wide array of services to small businesses and entrepreneurs, including one to one counseling in the areas of business plan development, funding evaluation and preparation, start-ups and expansions, management training, marketing, record keeping, computerized accounting systems, and more.
She also collaborates with the SBDC team to conduct training, workshops, and seminars on topics of interest to small to medium-sized business owners and their essential staff.
Through networking, presentations and information sharing, WNET provides professional development and personal growth for women business owners.
The cost for each seminar is $15.
Each seminar includes a light breakfast.
