OSWEGO, NY – Citing the need to talk with voters directly, Oswego mayoral candidate Billy Barlow announced a series of “Coffee with the Candidate” listening events.
The public is invited to stop and share their input and ideas on what the important issues facing the city.
Additionally, Barlow will share his vision for making Oswego a better place to live, work, raise a family and retire.
“This is a critical point in time for our city. I want to meet with voters and share my ideas for tackling the important issues facing Oswego. The voters need to know what I stand for and how I plan to address the serious issues facing our community,” said Barlow. “Most importantly, I want to hear from our residents. The concerns, priorities and ideas of the residents should be the core issues of this election and I want to hear from as many taxpayers as I can. For the last several months, I’ve talked to folks all across our city in an effort to hear their concerns directly. The experience has been invaluable and I am more committed than ever to make a difference in our community.”
Barlow added that an informal discussion over complimentary coffee provides “a comfortable, welcoming setting” as residents are free to come and go as they please.
The coffee hours are scheduled as follows:
September 12 – Oswego Tea Company- 9 to 10 a.m. (157 E. First St.)
October 3 – The Office Tavern and Restaurant – 9 to 10 a.m. (11 W. Seneca St.)
October 10 – Taste of the World, Canal Commons – 9 to 10 a.m. (193 W. First St.)
