OSWEGO, NY – Thanking someone for their random acts of kindness and thoughtfulness means is important to the staff and residents of Bishop’s Commons.
The Assistive Living Residence is honoring Gary Richards for going above and beyond with kindness and generosity to both staff and residents.
Richards has been awarded the Bishop’s Commons “Kind Hearted†award.
Richards is the son-in-law of resident Mary Lucchese and a regular visitor at Bishop’s Commons.
Over the years, it was often noted that Gary had a love for cooking, so when the summer family picnic arrived last summer, Gary was eager to volunteer his time and expertise on the grill.
Since then, Gary continues to help with barbecues as they take place throughout the year sharing his talent and his smile.
“We are thankful for Gary’s willingness to always help. He truly brightens the lives of those who work and live here,†Senior Living Coordinator, Julie Chetney noted.
Bishop’s Commons is part of the St. Luke Health Services Campus conveniently located on a wooded, scenic hillside, overlooking the Oswego River and Falls.
