Bishop Commons March ‘Learn and Lunch’ Program Offers Information on Falls Prevention


OSWEGO – Bishop’s Commons in Oswego will host its first in a series of monthly “Learn and Lunch” events on the fourth Thursday of every month, with the inaugural event on March 22 from noon to 1 p.m.

Each monthly “Learn and Lunch” event will feature a half hour educational program followed by a free lunch that includes soup, salad and dessert served in the Grand Dining Room.

This month, professionals from Bishop’s Commons will discuss simple falls preventions strategies everyone should consider for their homes, along with a brief overview of services now available in the community that can help someone improve their balance.

The “Learn and Lunch” is free of charge and open to the public.

No reservations are necessary.
