OSWEGO – If someone you know is affected by Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia-related illness, planning for the future is important.
Bishop Commons Enriched Living Residence in Oswego is hosting the next in a series of educational programs presented by the Alzheimer’s Association of Central New York entitled, “Legal and Financial Planning.”
This two-part educational program will provide caregivers with an overview of significant legal documents such as wills, powers of attorney, and health care proxies. The program will also provide an overview of financial issues and options such as Medicare, Medicaid or veterans benefits.
The series will be held on June 12 and 19 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Bishop Commons Enriched Living Residence, 4 Burkle St., Oswego.
The programs are free of charge and open to the public. It is strongly recommended that you attend both scheduled workshops in the series.
