OSWEGO – Bishop’s Commons Enriched Living Residence will host the Alzheimer’s Association, Central New York Chapter educational workshop entitled, “Memory Loss, Dementia, and Alzheimer’s Disease: The Basics,” on April 27 beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Bishop Commons Enriched Living Residence is located at 4 Burkle St.
The educational program is free of charge and open to the public.
This program discusses the difference between normal aging and dementia, explores how the brain works, defines dementia and goes through the different stages of the disease, explains the importance of clinical trials and gives an overview of the programs and services offered by the Alzheimer’s Association.
Registration for “Memory Loss, Dementia, and Alzheimer’s Disease: The Basics” is required.
