Blessing Of The Animals Set At First United In Fulton

FULTON, NY – First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St., will host a “Blessing of the Animals” event on Sept. 23 beginning at 2 p.m.

The gathering will be held in the church parking area.

If weather is unfavorable, the Fellowship Hall will be used.

The theme of this year’s service will be “All Creatures Declare God’s Praise.”

Jean Soprano, president of Kindred Kingdoms Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, will be
present as a guest speaker.

Carol Dexter, chair of the Worship Committee, will bring the welcome.

Pastor David Nethercott and members of the Worship Committee will share in the leadership of the service.

Everyone is invited to attend this service along with their pet that is either on a leash or in a cage.

Refreshments will be provided.

First United Church is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, USA and the Presbyterian Church (USA).

The congregation is active in the greater Fulton community through the Greater Fulton Area Council of Christian Churches.

The congregation has recently established the Open Doors Neighborhood Center.

The facility offers hearing assistance and is accessible to those who are physically handicapped.
