Blessings in a Backpack benefit set at United Baptist Church of Scriba

SCRIBA – The United Baptist Church of Scriba will present its second annual Fall Family Fun Fest on Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Come join us for some fun, food, fellowship and music.

All children, five and under, get in free. Otherwise it is $5 per family or $1 per person, whichever is cheaper.

Plenty of free parking will be available at the church.

There will be live music during the day along with other attractions.

We will have face painting, a fire truck from the Volunteer Scriba Fire Department, a wagon ride and a bouncy house to name a few.

During the event, we will have a bake sale, a cake walk and some games for children of all ages.

And, of course, we will have an assorted variety of delicious free food and drinks.

Cakes, pies, hot dogs, chips, chowder and chili will hit the spot when you get hungry.

Come rain or shine, the Fun Fest will go on.

All proceeds from this event will go to sponsoring children in the “Blessings in a Backpack” program at our local schools.

This program sends nonperishable food home every Friday afternoon, during the school year, to elementary aged children who may not have any food to eat during the weekend.

We hope to see you, your family and friends there.

We are located in Scriba right next door to Dahl’s Diner and across from the Scriba Driving Range. Our address is 5111 State Route 104 East, Oswego.

If you have any questions you may leave a message at 315-343-8542.

Someone will get back to you.
