ORWELL – The Oswego County Health Department lifted the boil water order that was issued last Thursday, June 9, 2011, for the Town of Orwell water district. People in the Town of Orwell are no longer advised to boil tap water before using it for drinking or food preparation.
“Water quality monitoring was performed within the Town of Orwell on Monday and Tuesday,” said Dr. Dennis Norfleet, public health director for the Oswego County Health Department. “The results of these tests have been found to be satisfactory.”
