FULTON – Golfers in the 19th Annual St. Luke-Francis Boyce Memorial Charity Tournament will be taking a swing at $20,000 during a hole-in-one contest, thanks to The Bonadio Group.
The event tees off with an 8 a.m. “shot gun” start on August 13 at Battle Island State Park in Fulton. The four-person “Captain and Crew” tournament attracts both serious and novice golf teams alike – with prizes awarded in both categories.
The Boyce Memorial Charity Golf Tournament benefits the “Don’t Stop Wishing” program, an organization-wide initiative at affiliates St. Luke Health Services, Bishop’s Commons, Michaud Residential Health Services and St. Francis Commons.
The program helps enhance the quality of life enjoyed by residents and helps maintain connections with their community by funding trips, activities and events throughout the year.
Cost for the tournament is $80 per person ($320 for a four-person team).
The field is limited to the first 25 teams that register.
The entry fee includes greens fees, cart; lunch, awards and prizes immediately following at Kristen’s at Battle Island.
In addition to the hole-in-one contest sponsored by The Bonadio Group, a longest drive and closest to the pin for both men and women and putting contest will be a part of the day’s fun.
Corporate support for the 19th Annual Francis Boyce Memorial Charity Golf Tournament comes from Environmental Services Specialist Corp; Fulton Savings Bank; Harbor Pharmacy; The Hayner-Hoyt Corporation; IV4, Inc.; Rehab Resources; Sodexo; Usherwood Office Technology and the Yang-Patyi Law Firm.
