BALDWINSVILLE, NY – Track management at the Brewerton and Fulton speedways are pleased to announce that Team USA (TUSA) chassis, body and engine specifications will be used to govern Mod Lite competition at each track in 2013. Competing cars will be required to follow all specifications as set forth by TUSA. For 2013, tires will be the exception as TUSA tires will not be required.
TUSA rules and information can be found at www.t-usa.org. The final 2013 TUSA rules are expected to be released around the end of December and will be posted on their site, and will also be posted under the rules section at www.fultonspeedway.com and www.brewertonspeedway.com
Speedway management is also pleased to announce that Weedsport, NY’s Karl Schartner has been named the technical inspector for the Mod Lite Class. Schartner brings a wealth of Mod Lite knowledge to the tracks, having built and owned Mod Lites for his son Andrew for many years. Schartner will handle Mod Lite rule enforcement for all events in 2013.
New for 2013, a track membership will be required for all competing drivers in all classes. All license holders will receive discounted pit admission and a significantly increased medical insurance benefit. Details on the track membership and a license application will be released shortly on the track websites.
