BREWERTON, NY – With all the rain the Brewerton Speedway has received the grounds have become very saturated. To save fans and race teams time and expense, speedway officials have cancelled Friday, May 26, racing.
You can still get your need for speed May 27 at the Fulton Speedway when one of the more popular nights on the schedule will take place with racing and demolition derbies.
On the exciting race card will be the Tracey Road Equipment Modifieds, SUNY Canton Sportsman, Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Late Models, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and JB Logging & Firewood 4-Cylinders.
After the racing is over on the speedway it will be time for collisions and crunching metal of “Spring Smashdown” featuring King’s Smash ‘Em Crash ‘Em $1,000-to-win 4&6 Cylinder Chain and Bang and $300-to-win Youth Derby.
Adult grandstand admission is $15 with everyone 18 years old and younger free.
Pit admission is $27 participant, $30 non-participant. Gates will open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.
Racing will return to the Brewerton Speedway on June 2 when Universal Metal Works & Regional Truck & Trailer present Tracey Road Equipment Modifieds, SUNY Canton Sportsman, Firehouse Subs Mod Lites, JB Logging & Firewood 4-Cylinders, plus One-on-One Spectator Races.
Adult grandstand admission is $12 with everyone 18 years old and younger free. Pits $27 participant, $30 non participant. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m.
