On June 7, the five chapters of the 12th Capitular District: Central City Riverside 70, Lake Ontario, 165, Oswego River 167, Charles H. Platt 147 and Pulaski 279 welcomed Grand Master of the Third Veil, Brian D. Singer to the Masonic Temple in Liverpool.
The companions enjoyed a to a lunch of hot roast beef sandwiches, fresh backed roles, potato salad and pie.
Singer was welcomed by District Deputy Grand High Priest, John B. Coviell and Assistant Grand Lecturer, George A. Reed.
The companions discussed common problems of membership recruiting and retention, training and making meeting interesting.
Right Excellent Singer discussed the educational plans outlined by the Grand High Priest, Piers A. Vaughan.
Singer presented Grand Master of the First Veil, Norman A. Kruth with his Zerubbabel Society metal.
The Zerubbable Society represent a pledge of $1,000 over ten years to support the charitable work of the Royal Arch Masons including diseases of the lungs, support for the Masonic medical lab, and scholarships for wives, children and grandchildren.
