Mr. Coons was my 5th grade teacher at Fourth Street School. I have very fond memories of him being my teacher. Later on when I became a teacher I was able to talk with him again. I offer my sincere sympathies to his family.

Mr. Coons was my fifth grade teacher at Fourth St. School; he was also my first male teacher. We always started the school day with reciting the Pledge and the marking off the large calendar he had posted on the wall. During the Presidental election, Mr. Coons had election posters of all candidates posted on the wall.

My deepest condolences go out to the Coons family.
