FULTON, NY – A local bus service will provide transportation to and from the American Cancer Society’s annual “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer’ fundraising walk in downtown Syracuse.

The walk takes place Oct. 5, in Clinton Square.

Golden Sun Bus Service, Inc., has donated a bus for walkers for the past 10 years.

Anyone who is participating in the Strides Walk is welcome to ride.

A $1 donation is requested per person for the bus driver.

A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital’s Patient-Community Educator Becki Bettinger, R.N., has a signup sheet for bus riders.

“We need to know how many seats will be filled,” she said. “This is a great way to support a worthy cause and save gas money.”

Those interested in reserving a seat may call her office at 591-9868 now through Sept. 25.
