FULTON, NY — The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, together with the Office of Fulton Mayor Ron Woodward, today (Feb. 8) announced that it will host monthly economic development meetings with the Fulton business community.
Mayor Woodward and members of the Common Council will join the group for the first meeting in Fulton on February 18.
The meeting will be held in the council chambers in Fulton City Hall and begin promptly at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting provide an opportunity for Mayor Woodward and the Common Council to share their vision and initiatives for the community to strengthen Fulton and Central New York’s economy, as well as gain valuable feedback from business owners, managers and community residents.
“The chamber knows the importance of connecting local businesses with their elected government officials and is eager to bring this benefit to the people of Fulton. By community members asking Mayor Woodward and the council questions about issues they face it gives him a better idea of changes that need to be made. It also gives Mayor Woodward and council a chance to share with everyone in attendance, initiatives taking place and plans they are currently working on,” said Greg Mills, director of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
“I’m proud to partner with the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce to provide an open platform to communicate directly with our business community so that we may better address their needs.” said Mayor Woodward.
Space is limited.
