FULTON, NYÃ¢â‚¬Â¦A busy race program is planned at Fulton Speedway this Saturday, August 29. It will be Novelis Can Collection plus Pop Warner Football / Cheerleading Night. Any fan that turns in 100 recyclable aluminum cans will receive $5 off of grandstand admission. All cans will be turned into the Oswego County Habitat for Humanity. Also, any Pop Warner Football player or cheerleader in a uniform top will be allowed into the track at no charge. Coaches in attire will also be admitted free. Race time is set for 7 p.m.
Billy Decker is coming off a well earned 35-lap DIRTcar Big Block Modified feature race victory last Saturday night. The veteran had to catch and pass youngster Michael Storms with-out the help of a caution period from his 18th starting position. New Jersey native, Storms, had to settle for third at the finish, behind Pat Ward, who also covered a lot of ground in the late going of the DIRTcar Big Block Modified battle Where TodayÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Legends Race Today.
Alan Johnson, Ryan Phelps, Jimmy Phelps, Jim Witko, Larry Wight, Dale Planck, Mike Mahaney, Tom Sears, Chuck Bower, Pat OÃ¢â‚¬â„¢Brien, Tim Sears, Eric Fisher, Mike Bowman, Sean Beardsley, Vinnie Vitale, Chad Phelps, Billy Dunn, Matt Fink and Roy Bresnahan are more of the top DIRTcar Big Block Modified drivers expected to be in competition on Novelis Can Collection Night. Fulton Speedway is the home of the strongest field of DIRTcar Big Block Modified competitors in the northeast.
Tim Sears Jr., Billy Clark, Alan Fink, Jordan Bennett and John Pietrowicz make up the top five currently in the DIRTcar Sportsman standings at Fulton Speedway. Dan Hoffman Sr., Dan Hoffman Jr., Ron Hawker, Russ Marsden and Steve Woodworth occupy the top five positions currently in the DIRTcar Street Stock ranks. Jon Shumway, Mark Johnston and Joe Kline own the top three positions in the E&V Energy Novice Sportsman class. Bruce Unger, Keith Zirbel and Jerry Herbert are the top three in the Gladiator rankings.
