Cabaret Benefits the Arts

FULTON, NY – Promising “a nice evening out,” CNY Arts Center is putting the finishing touches on Songs of the Seasons, a musical cabaret to benefit the new organization.

Saturday, March 2 at 8 p.m., in their new facility at 357 State St., area entertainers will present an intimate evening of song and poetry, decadent desserts, and raffle items to help raise funds for programming and events.

Carly Farfaglia was in the recent premiere of Yes Virginia...the Musical. Carly will be performing several hit songs in Songs of the Seasons, CNY Arts Center Benefit Cabaret.

“Local merchants have been very generous with donations. Some items include dinner for two, gift cards from a local restaurant, theatre tickets, paintings, and more,” said Nancy Fox, Arts Center director. “Included will be a drawing for a paid campership for Arty Day Camp, a CNY Arts Center membership, ARTY Cash, merchandise and other incentives. For every paid admission, one free raffle ticket will be given so that everyone will have a chance in a drawing. Audience members will choose where to play their raffle tickets so the options are endless. We hope the community will show their support for the arts by joining us for a relaxed evening of fun.”

“We’ve had a great start in our new facility with classes and events and two great productions on stage. We’re bringing the third annual Arts Fest and Arts Market, along with another community mural project for Harborfest, and a return of two weeks of Arty Day Camp. We have several exciting new events in the works for the summer,” Fox continued. “We’re working hard to deliver the arts and reaching out to the community to show their support with this cabaret.”
