OSWEGO – Oswego County youth and families are invited to celebrate the autumn season on October 17 at Hollis Harvest.
The event runs from 2 to 6 p.m. at Camp Hollis, located at 40 Health Camp Road, just off Lakeshore Road in the town of Oswego.
Everyone will enjoy fall-themed games, arts and crafts, trail walks, trick-or-treating from cabin to cabin, and family-friendly entertainment sponsored by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau.
Many of the activities at Hollis Harvest will be held outside, so participants should dress accordingly.
There will be indoor space for craft projects and a snack bar where refreshments will be available for purchase.
All are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costumes to enjoy the days’ activities, including trick-or-treating.
There is no fee to attend the event and registration is not required.
Youth must be accompanied by an adult.
Camp Hollis is owned by Oswego County and operated by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau as a residential camp during the summer months for children aged 8 to 14 years.
The facility is also available April through October for use by families, clubs, school groups and other organizations.
Hollis Harvest and other events give Oswego County residents the opportunity to enjoy the camp year round.
