Campbell sang original songs, his message focusing on overcoming obstacles and appreciating others. Students were touched not only by his lyrics, but the videos that were projected behind him during the performance.

Campbell has a song related to the “white line” along the highway that guides a driver. He asked students after the show to reach out to the anchors or “white lines” in their lives; the people or their faith that helps move them in the right direction.

Students laughed along with his jokes, and others were moved to tears. He encouraged students to find their passion, and live out their lives with purpose.

He also sang a song entitled “January Snow,” a true story about a high school girl who was horribly bullied in school. His focus in the song is that words are powerful and have lasting effects, but can only hurt us if we give them power.

The presentation concluded with Campbell telling students to remain unique, because it is their individuality that makes them awesome.
